In cooperation with the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) held the REACH Congress 2021 on April 21 and 22, 2021.
The central topic was a political and scientific exchange on the effects of the implementation of the REACH regulation on occupational safety. Contributions from various interest groups made it possible to discuss the interface between the REACH regulation and occupational health and safety legislation from different perspectives. In particular, synergies between the two legislations as well as impulses for suggestions for improvement were the subject of the presentations and discussions.
The event was offered as a virtual conference with live broadcast from the energy hall of the DASA working world exhibition in the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Dortmund.
