The database of restricted and priority substances is updated twice a year. In 2022, the following substance lists were included: Annex III of Directive 2004/37/EC on the protection of workers from exposure to carcinogens, mutagens and reprotoxic substances, the substance list of ETUI on HMP (hazardous medicinal products) with the CMR substances of category 1A and 1B according to CLP, the prohibited and undesirable substances of the VKIS-VSI-IGM-BGHM substance list for cooling lubricants and the substance list of Regulation (EC) No. 649/2012 PIC (prior information consent). In addition, you will find the twelve most important carcinogenic hazardous substances from the current GDA (Joint German Occupational Health and Safety Strategy) work programme in the database of restricted and priority substances.

Altogether, the database currently (as of March 2023) contains more than 38,000 individual substances from 37 substance lists. Since the last update in January 2023, the SDSC list (substance list according to SUBSPORTplus-screening criteria) no longer contains CMR substances of category 2 of the CLP Regulation (suspected substances) and carcinogenic substances of category 2B of the IARC list.

Currently, the database of case studies is also being revised. More on this to come soon!
