The Second Berlin Forum on Chemicals and Sustainability "Just Transition Towards a Pollution-free Planet" took place virtually on 4-5 September 2023. It has been organized by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV).

This forum has been hosted in the run-up to the Fifth Session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM5) which will be held under the German Presidency in Bonn from the 25th to the 29th of September. At ICCM5, it is aimed to adopt a new framework instrument for safer global chemicals and waste management.
