The EU funded research project ZeroPM, which aims to enable the EU Green Deal‘s ambition towards Zero Pollution of Persistent, Mobile Substances, is building a database of alternatives to PMT substances as well as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The current version focuses on alternatives to PFAS. The database is available as a beta-version and will be continuously updated.  Its purpose is to provide a user friendly tool that describes where PFAS are used, which functions to they provide, as well as the potential suitable alternatives that are available. 

The results were presented during the SETAC Europe 34th Annual Meeting, from the 5th to the 8th of May 2024.
