As part of the chemical evening discussion, the Austrian Economic Chambers (WKÖ) discussed on 1 October in Vienna the advantages and disadvantages of PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances). In particular, the challenges of PFAS substitution in critical areas as well as various activities by the Austrian authorities were highlighted.
