ChemFORWARD wins Harvard's Roy Award for Environmental Partnership

ChemFORWARD has been named the 2024 recipient of the Roy Family Award for Environmental Partnership by the Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center. The biannual award recognises innovative cross-sector collaborations that improve the quality of the environment. The initiative was selected from a global pool of high-impact projects for its innovation, effectiveness and scalability.

ChemFORWARD’s digital repository of verified Chemical Hazard Assessments (CHAs) provides companies with critical data to replace hazardous chemicals in their supply chains with safer alternatives. By partnering with consumer product manufacturers, retailers, NGOs and trade groups, the initiative simplifies access to hazard assessments, reduces redundancy and promotes transparency while maintaining industry confidentiality.

The award ceremony will take place on 26 March at the Harvard Kennedy School to celebrate ChemFORWARD's role in advancing sustainable chemical practices.
