The Global Greenchem Toolkit is a newly updated educational resource designed to help individuals and organizations apply green chemistry principles in practice. It provides 13 modules plus additional resources, including a Special Module CSAA (Chemical Substitution and Alternatives Assessment), Green Chemistry Business Case Studies, Green Chemistry in the Real World, Regulations and International Conventions and more, to promote environmentally and economically viable chemical solutions.
The toolkit has been developed for a general audience and demonstrates an applied focus on innovation. It is relevant for individuals seeking to apply their knowledge and inspiration of Green Chemistry in practice. The toolkit was developed in collaboration with Green Chemistry specialists from around the world.
The Global Greenchem Toolkit, initially developed as the Green Chemistry Toolkit in 2018 by the Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering at Yale and UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization), is currently funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the European Union.
