The GDA work programme "Safe handling of carcinogenic hazardous substances" has various focal points to improve the protection of employees against carcinogenic hazardous substances.
As part of the work programme, the Hazardous Substances Check was developed as a tool aimed primarily at SMEs. The tool supports the step-by-step implementation of the risk assessment and provides guidance on the selection of effective protective measures and their implementation.
Twelve selected carcinogenic substances are the focus of the GDA work programme, which have been included in SUBSPORTplus.
